Sonnets for an Old Century

Sun, April 11, 2021, 2:00 pm

Sonnets for an An Old Century is directed by Paul Draper with Voice Coaching by Marie Ramirez Downing. Sonnets for An Old Century is the playwrights take on answering the question “Could you tell your life story in the space of a moment, the length of a Sonnet” by letting multiple individuals tell their stories in sonnet form. Even though each Sonnet is an individual solo piece, the director is considering splitting multiple voices over some of the Sonnets. A diverse set of voices is required for this play, which will be pre-recorded and then livestreamed on April 8th-11th.

The weekend will be comprised of two different programs (A & B) performed at different times, available so folks can view in the afternoon and/or evening.

Thursday, April 8 at 7PM | Program A

Friday, April 9 at 7PM | Program B

Saturday, April 10 at 2PM | Program A and at 7PM | Program B

Sunday, April 11 at 2PM | Program B and at 7PM | Program A
