Aireene Espiritu‘s songs are a mix of stompin’, swayin’ and timeless Americana reminiscent of front porch storytelling, of ghosts and the living, times of laughter and tears. Aireene was a soloist with the Glide Ensemble in San Francisco, toured nationwide and internationally, and in 2016, was added to the roster of artists under non-profit label, Little Village Foundation. She created A Color-Coded Symphony project, a musical experience connecting the audience’s ethnic origins to rhythms of the world and whose aim is to nurture curiosity and openness towards other cultures through music. Her latest project is, The Sampaguitas, singing Filipino folk songs and originals in three-part harmonies.

“A rare breed of artist, soul singer, folk troubadour, a skiffle tear-stained street singer with a heart as big as the history of the music that drives her…a storyteller without borders or cultural limitations.” – No Depression

“Folk singer-songwriter Aireene Espiritu works in the elemental substance of vernacular American music with an uncanny ease. Whether blues, hillbilly, soul, folk or R&B…demonstrates masterly command of each. Her original compositions mix deft lyrical construction and classic form just as impressively…An authentic, authoritative vocalist and with distinctly sensitive manner of phrasing…”  – Los Angeles Times

Andrew Maurer is a multi-instrumentalist raised in Santa Rosa, CA.   In his 38 years he’s played live and recorded across many genres, from instrumental rock with Seeded Skies to roots reggae with vocalist ILAYA.  One constant, when he returns home after jamming with others, is his solo acoustic guitar singer/songwriter music which is a personal tool to remain grounded and to keep a mindful outlook.   He hopes that in these lyrics and melodies which are heavily informed by Sonoma County landscapes, the listener may find a sense of peace.

He collaborated with a producer in Indiana on a self-titled album with the name Slopes of Distant Hills which can be found on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music

Nick Pim is a San Francisco indie folk guy. His songs are described as “stark” and “very real”. He has a so-so voice, but people find it comforting. Previously of Portland’s The Goddamn Band, Pim has trimmed the fat to supply his updated message acoustically; such that he can travel to gigs on bike – often performing what was written on the trip over.
