The New Horizons Swing Band is hosting an evening of music at the Glaser Center located at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in downtown Santa Rosa (UUCSR). Enjoy hits from the swing dance era of the 1930s and 40s. If you don’t dance but like the music, come and tap your toes. The evening begins with free swing dance lesson by Anne and Kevin Hutchinson of SoCo Dance Beat at 5:30 PM. The 24-piece band plays from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.
This is a benefit for the Saturday Breakfast project of UUCSR, which has been offering a free hearty breakfast every Saturday morning for anyone who needs it for two decades. Typically, around 125 persons are served each week. Advance tickets $15 each. At the door $20.
