From great tragedy comes great art. Or, at least, that’s the hope. In creating their new albums, Jude Vol. I and Jude Vol. II, The Bright Light Social Hour found making music to be a healing, cathartic process after the band was deeply shaken by grief.
SWIMM makes indie music combining ethereal sonic elements of soul, psych and folk and grounding them in lyrical content based in social commentary and a longing for clarity in the inevitable. SWIMM is trying to break your heart on a long drive but encourages pit stops for dancing on the side of the road.
McNear’s Mystic Theatre is located in historic downtown Petaluma, California and is described by many as the North Bay’s Premier Music Venue. Built in 1911, The Mystic Theatre originally was host to live Vaudeville entertainment and in 1992 was renovated to accommodate live music performances for up to 550 guests.
