Formed in 2011 in Sonoma County, The Gypsy Trio, consists of the best musicians the area has to offer. Ian Scherer, Rick Fullerton, and bassist Trevor Kinsel. The chemistry of The Gypsy Trio is greater than the sum of its parts. The two guitars “weave” back and forth switching between lead and rhythm guitar and, at times, play the same part, but always in perfect juxtaposed harmony; the bass alone holds down the bottom rhythm. Together, the band has played numerous venues including KJZY’s after work concert series, Gualala Jazz Festival, Fairfax festival, and many others.
