The Sam Chase & The Untraditional (Night 1)

There are fleeting moments every handful of decades or so that define a generation.  At the time, that moment may be easy to miss, but it lingers in the back of our collective consciousness; burrowing its way deep into a soft, warm corner of our long term memory, and slumbers; waiting for when it is needed.

In November of 2019, a generation starved of meaning, passion, and truth were given a gift.  An allegory showing us that in our evil world, it can only exist if there is still good in it as well.  It was a beacon of hope and a call to action.  It was the light at the edge of darkness, cresting upward along the horizon.   It was The Sam Chase & the Untraditional’s Faustian-Spaghetti-Western-Rock-Opera: “The Last Rites Of Dallas Pistol.”

However, not all calls to action can be met at the time, and in 2020 we thought it best to wait out the darkness until the time was right.

As we roar from the past into the future, we once again are asked to fight through the sadness, stress and anxiety of our humdrum existence and prove to the universe that we are infinite oceans of joy, excitement and passion.  Specifically, on the night of December 30th (night one of a two night new years special event) when The Sam Chase & the Untraditional will finally perform The Last Rites of Dallas Pistol in its entirety!

The Sam Chase & The Untraditional hails from San Francisco, California. This juggernaut of a band blends rock n roll with folk music while maintaining the sensibilities and attitudes that come from growing up on a healthy diet of punk rock.

The leader of the band is The Sam Chase himself, a natural storyteller with a voice that sounds as if it has weathered many an epic tale.  With boot-stomping orchestration and lyrics that have been immortalized on the tattooed skin of their fans, The Sam Chase & The Untraditional doesn’t mess around.
