Petaluma based and founded by Jason Davies on the heels of the pandemic, The Social Contractors return to The Big Easy with an upbeat blend of melodic original rock along with classics from the 60s-90s (The Beatles, The Police, Pink Floyd, Men At Work, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Stevie Wonder, Chris Isaak, Steve Miller, U2, and more). Jason’s tightly crafted tunes feature improvised solos and pointed lyrics that span edgy political and environmental themes to tales of unrequited love and introspection – all with an ultimately optimistic perspective on the possible.
The Social Contractors include songwriter Jason Davies (vocals, rhythm/lead guitar), Travis Thayer (keyboard/sax/vocals), Rob Neidel (bass/vocals), and Chris Oatman (drums). From interpretations of the classics you know and love, to infectiously catchy and danceable originals (i.e. you just may find yourself humming and dancing along), we’re sure you’ll enjoy The Social Contractors! So please join us at The Big Easy for an evening of live music, socialization, delicious food, and beverages from the full bar on Friday, March 21st – doors open at 6:30 PM, music starts at 8 PM.
