
We’re celebrating our agricultural lands and grazing culture with the 3rd annual Transhumance Festival. Come meet the goats, learn about beneficial grazing and other land practices, bring a picnic and enjoy some live music with Burnside.
Schedule
9am – arrive at Steamer Landing Park
10am – leave Steamer Landing Park – help us walk the goats on lead to city hall
11:45am – speakers Guido Frosini, Petaluma Mayor Teresa Barrett & Stephanie Bastianon
12:00pm – leave city hall – help us walk the goats back to Steamer Landing Park
12:45 – arrive back at Steamer Landing Park
1pm – the Burnside band begins to play! Bring your own picnic, blankets & chairs to enjoy the music
1:45 – talk with herders / shepherds – play with goats
3pm – event ends, break down
