Trashion Fashion Runway Show – matinee

Sonoma Community Center’s beloved event, the Trashion Fashion Show will be live and in-person on Saturday, April 22nd, Earth Day, at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall with a 2:00pm matinee and a 5:00pm evening show; the evening show is followed with a “Sweets and Bubbles Reception”. Outrageous head-to-toe designs, made from recycled materials and found objects, will once again walk the runway handmade by local community members who answered the challenge of turning trash into wearable art.

Trashion Fashion celebrates the intersection of fashion, art, and environmental sustainability. The runway show features unique garments, made by community members from recycled or found and unlikely materials. Trashion also includes a gallery show of Barbies, saved from our local landfill and dressed in unique upcycled fashion, a free community Trash Bash party, and a Dogs on the Catwalk show for four-legged companions.
