Santa Rosa Urban Arts Partnership celebrates a new warm weather tradition with another Santa Rosa West End Block Party and Summer Market on Sunday, Aug.18, from 2-6pm. Set in a sweet historic neighborhood just north of Santa Rosa’s Railroad Square, this lively street party is located next to the large lawn abutting the DeTurk Round Barn. The perfect place for the community to gather and enjoy food, music, crafts and family activities, the West End Block Party and Summer Market is free and open to all ages. This family-friendly outdoor celebration features such vendors as Kim Dow Made This, Serpent & Bow, Peachgummy Art, BigMouthCreative, Sonoma Sauces, Good Omens Handcraft & Magic Dyes, Studio Dejavoo, Kishi’s Kindred Beads, HolyChileMole, Casa Nostra NorCal, and Rockwell Vermouth. The Sonoma County Sketchbook Club, the Sonoma County Zine Club, and the Situationists Collective will each convene. Longtime Santa Rosa musical faves The Spindles will perform original live tunes and the North Bay Circus promises to thrill and delight.
